Wild and consciously harvested kelp (laminaria digitata) collected while freediving on the beautiful and pristine south Devon coast, UK. Harvested between 2 and 20m deep in clean areas.

Washed in seawater prior to being dehydrated and ground down to a rich, green superfood powder. No added ingredients, just pure, unadulterated and beautiful kelp.

Contains naturally occurring vitamins K, A, C and E in addition to vitamins B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B6 (pyridoxine), B9 (folate), and B12 and pantothenic acid.

Iodine is present in high amounts. Other minerals include a high amount of calcium, magnesium, iron, sodium, zinc and phosphorus.

Contains 42 fatty acids including Glutamic Acid that gives a strong umami flavour welcomed by chefs. Glutamic acid is a natural flavour enhancer and tenderiser.

Add to food while cooking to enhance existing flavours, give an umami punch and reduce cooking times of tougher ingredients or sprinkle on raw as a super nutrient rich offering.
